After three years the CiNURGi project is ending, and we have results to share!

Investments

The investments in CiNURGi have demonstrated the practical implementation of different nutrient recycling solutions in Finland, Sweden and Poland, and now we can share their successes and challenges with you. From adapting new technology like Near Infrared Spectrometry to both agriculture and logistics, and building prototypes for mobile fertilizer production units, the CiNURGi investments cover a variety of nutrient recycling solutions.

Policy recommendations

The goal of the CiNURGi project has been to cultivate a circular nutrient economy and support the implementation of the HELCOM Baltic Sea Regional Nutrient Recycling Strategy. All the work done within CiNURGi has been distilled into 33 policy recommendations that covers several of the actions dedicated to nutrient management listed in the HELCOM Baltic Sea Action Plan.
