DESCRIPTION:The highly topical theme of security and safety in the Baltic Sea Region gathered an audience of almost 500 people to the 15th Baltic Sea Region Forum\, 15th of June 2023. Roughly half of the audience was present in Turku and the rest followed the discussions online. Due to geography\, the Finns naturally dominated both on the spot and as an online audience\, but the other countries of the Baltic Sea Region were evenly represented. \nThe opening greetings were given by a surprise speaker\, Russian dissident writer Mikhail Shishkin\, who gave a citations from his book "My Russia\, War or Peace“. \nThe programme and the speakers can be seen in the sidepages in this address.\nCentrum Balticum organises the Baltic Sea Region Forum annually. The Forum gathers people interested in the development of the Baltic Sea Region and provides a possibility for experts from different sectors to share their knowledge.\n\n \nWatch the recording of the event on Youtube.
